Direction 1
Specifies the crown parameters for the first extent direction.
Crown Type
Sets the method of defining the crown properties for the first extent direction.
No Crown—Specifies that you do not want crowning applied.
Radius—Specifies that the crown is defined by a radius value.
Radius and Takeoff—Specifies that the crown is defined by a radius and takeoff value.
Offset—Specifies that the crown is defined by an offset value.
Offset and Takeoff—Specifies that the crown is defined by an offset and takeoff value.
Radius
Specifies the crown radius you want for Direction 1. This radius must exceed the extent of the feature.
Offset
Specifies the offset value you want for Direction 1.
Takeoff
Specifies the takeoff angle you want for Direction 1. A crown defined using an angled takeoff provides a greater degree of apparent draft angle.
Flip Side
Flips the side on which the crown is applied. The Flip Side and Flip Curvature options allow you to control how the crowning is applied to the part. When you click the Flip Side and Flip Curvature buttons, a graphical image of how the crown would be applied is displayed adjacent to the extent direction of the feature.
