Insert command (Assembly Environment)

Applies a mate relationship with a fixed offset value and an axial align relationship with a fixed rotation angle.  You typically use this command to place axial-symmetric parts, such as nuts and bolts, into holes or onto cylindrical protrusions.

You can type a value for the fixed offset of the mate relationship.

The rotation angle of the axial align relationship cannot be controlled when the part is placed, but it can be edited later. You can use the buttons on the command bar to edit the axial align relationship from Lock Rotation to Unlock Rotation. You can then apply another relationship, such as an angle relationship, to control the rotation angle of the part.
