Name
Displays the name of the dimension you selected. You can also type a new dimension name in the box.
Formula
Displays the formula for the dimension. You can type a new formula or edit an existing formula. You can also select other dimensions to insert their names into the Formula box.
The formula field is unavailable if the dimension you selected is an unlocked dimension.
Comment
Displays the comment for the dimension. You can type a comment, which can make it easier to evaluate the formula later. The comment appears in the Variable Table dialog box.
Deselect (x)
Resets the formula box.
Accept (check mark)
Applies the formula to the dimension.
You can also click the adjacent list arrow to access the following commands and dialog boxes:
Copy Link command—Runs the Copy Link command.
Paste Link command—Runs the Paste Link command.
Formula Wizard—Displays the Function Wizard Step 1 of 2 dialog box.
Variable Rule Editor—Displays the Variable Rule Editor dialog box.
