Before working with standard parts, you should ensure the folder structure and database location is properly configured. For more information on standard parts, see Standard Parts in Solid Edge.
Choose Start→All Programs→Solid Edge ST(version #)→Standard Parts→Configuration Wizard.
On the Solid Edge Standard Parts Setup dialog box set the appropriate folder and database locations.
On the Saving Changes dialog box, click the Save Settings button.
