Format a dimension or annotation

  1. Select a dimension or annotation.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • On the command bar, set the options you want.

    • On the shortcut menu, click Properties. Then, on the Properties dialog box, set the options you want.

    Tip:

    • You can format a dimension or annotation before you place it using the Dimension command and then setting options on the command bar.

    • You also can format a dimension or annotation after you place it by setting options on the command bar or using the Properties command.

    • You also can change a dimension style or a text style globally with the Styles command on the View tab, in the Style group.
