Character Set

Go To Unicode

Use this option to find a Unicode character when you know its value but not what it represents. Select Unicode from the Character Set list, and then type the four-character Unicode value of the character you are looking for. The character is automatically highlighted in the grid of characters.

Group By

Further filters the list of available categories of Unicode characters. To find codes grouped by their general description, such as Arrows, General Punctuation, Currency, Super/Subscript, or Japanese Hiragana/Katakana, choose the Unicode Subrange. A Group By popup list is displayed for you to select the category you want.

Search For

Searches for a character by name within the character set specified in the Character Set list. Type the name you want to find in the Search For box, and then click the Search button. For example, if you are looking for the euro character, type euro, and then click Search.

Search/Reset

Search starts a search for the character name shown in the Search For box. Reset redisplays the full set of characters in the grid for the currently selected font.
