Examples: Constructing Protrusions With the Through All Option

Through All is one of the extent options for protrusion and cutout features. The following examples show the effect of using Through All for protrusions.

The first figure shows a profile extruded through all, to one side.

The next figure shows the same profile extruded through all, to the other side.

The next figure shows the same profile extruded through all, to both sides.

For protrusions, the through all extent option must result in a feature that completely intersects the part. The next figure shows an invalid case for using through all. To create this type of protrusion, use the From/To or Finite extent option.
